AUDIO ISSUES PLEASE HELP.

okay i’m putting a screenshot of the explanation so like basically i can test the stereo audio in windows, right? and it works fine. but then i get on val and it switches to mono?? it SAYS it’s stereo on val. and in windows. but when i get on the game, it definitely isn’t. if i open the game and try the stereo test in windows again, it plays as mono. i’ve tried fixing it in settings in both val and windows and it’s just not working. THEN! i was messing around with it trying to fix it, and now my pc doesn’t recognize the mic on my headset.
