ERROR VAL 57 (PC)
I recently moved to a new place, I'm connected via ethernet cable and can't launch the game. Usually it plays out like this:
1. Can't sign me in
2. Try again, it signs me in
3. Launches through the client
4. Load in screen ~45s
5. VAL 57 error
6. Shuts down
I've tried a ton of fixes from previous help threads and online. I'll try to list as many fixes as I can remember at the moment to avoid repeated advice, obviously none of these fixes have worked.
-Flushed DNS
-Changed DNS
-Reinstalled Vanguard
-Reinstalled the client
-Reinstalled VALORANT
-Admin commands sc delete vgk/vgc
-Reducing core power processing
I have another PC that's connected via wifi and VALORANT opens fine on that device, however it is my work device that I can't use for gaming, just tried it for testing purposes. I also tried logging in on an alternative account for testing purposes and the results were the same. My time zone is set correctly, I have no VPN, I've uninstalled everything I thought would interfere (Overwolf, Outplayed, etc). I opened a support ticket but I have yet to hear a response.

"Valorant error code 57, often displayed as "Vanguard Not Initialized," indicates a problem with the Riot Vanguard anti-cheat system."
Maybe your device administrator has set up some weird firewall rules that blocks it. Can you confirm that vanguard is running?
How would I confirm whether or not Vanguard is running?
What's strange is I haven't changed anything on my device for ~2 months when I had a hard Windows reset, and I've been able to play valorant a handful of times since then

Best to do that is to check it out on task manager.
To do that you need to press and hold ctrl+alt+delete all together, then you should look for riot vanguard on background processes
Is the vanguard icon in ur system tray?
Otherwise look for vanguard like Qorrski said
It is
Have you tried fully reinstalling Valorant, deleting all data files too?
It's usually the easiest way to fix a problem
Yes-- stated that in the first post. I've reinstalled Vanguard, the client, and Valorant.
Hmm, it could be a region problem in your account settings (that's what it was for me when i got that error years ago)
My region has always been the same and my PC time/region haven't changed either -- and they match
I've had valorant for ~4 years at this point, this issue just started a week ago
And you did nothing differently to trigger it?
All I did was move into a new apartment and set up my PC -- can't be any new internet type issue because my other device runs it correctly
try making another profile on your pc and install it there
Well the only problem could be the firewall preventing your pc to connect with your vanguard
I have manually enabled the client, valorant, and vanguard to bypass the firewall
do you have lte/4g
yes
Additionally, I've tried going to task manager > services > located vgc > started running vgc from there > opened valorant
got error 59
try using lte
i did, that doesnt work either
I've also tried uninstalling through revo -- to catch and delete any registry keys and hidden files -- restarted PC -- reinstalled -- restarted again -- to no avail
you can try updating your graphics drivers
if you're stuck on the loading screen (no val 57) you often need to update the integrated graphics driver, but I think this could help cuz it's similar 👍
tried this and uninstalling/reinstalling them as well -- error 59
did you verify the integrated graphics one
you can open task manager, goto the performances tab and verify that u have 1 gpu not 2
SOLVED
my intel graphics card said it was up to date but i downloaded the intel performance suite to scan for updates and it solved the problem
feeling annoyed and ridiculous tho bc the solution was on riots known issues list and i didnt catch it at first bc its lumped in w two other issues all w the same fix// for LoL and Val
reminder to thoroughly check the known issues list fellas
JK not solved -- the error is back -- i opened it the one time and now i cant open it again
lol
try repairing game files prehaps or consider reinstalling if you have fast enough internet
i’ve reinstalled multiple times and repaired game files multiple times.
As of now -- Valorant is working again, hopefully this was a permanent fix -- I turned off Performance Engine in my intel Killer Performance Suite and manually added riot files to bypass the firewall (again, bc I had reinstalled since last time)
Have u fixed it yet? Ive done all these except the last and second to last one too
