Just need a little help understanding a few things
What is LOD Chunk Render Distance radius, what effect does that have, and what number should I have it on? I’m still new to DH, (so excuse my dumbness lol) when you guys say you let it load over night, y’all have the game running the whole time while y’all sleep?

Normal Minecraft has a render distance. It determines how many chunks away you can see. 32 render distance means you can see 32 chunks far.
DH has that too. 512 render distance let's you see 512 chunks far.
Every chunk you see needs to be generated first. With a small render distance like 16 you don't even notice that, but at higher render distances you can notice that it takes a lot of time to generate all the chunks that need to be displayed. So it takes a while of generating before you can actually see 512 chunks far. Therefore you can leave your computer running overnight, generating all chunks in the 512 radius so you'll be able to see that far when you're back.
The 512 is just an example. I would recommend starting with something smaller like 128.
That makes sense, thanks
