Valorant Servers are down?
My friend can open valorant but I can't it shows that their update servers are down and i already restarted my pc.

There's no issues on the server status page. Can you go to task manager & close all valorant/riot games services then run the riot client as admin?
Do i also close vangaurd or do i leave that alone because theres no other riot services open
leave that alone
its still the same message
when it loads it doesn't go into my hotbar like it usually does
Do you happen to have a VPN enabled?
I only have vpn on my brave but its built into the search engine
and thats fully closed
and this is all the task manager shows
under riot applications
It should show in the notifications tray which is odd. When did you start having this issue?

got off for a few hours and i was getting back on
Have you tried reinstalling the riot client?
Do you happen to have an antivirus thats blocking it?
i tried to unistall it i also unistalled valorant but it shows this

I think just the built in one from microsoft
i dont have any antivirus applications downloaded

Right click the brave vpn and disable it
then run the riot client
the icon in the system tray

I had to look it up which apparently runs even out of the browser
the riot client doesn't like vpns/fire wall

I thought it wouldn't effect it since brave wasn't even open in my background processors
I mean it must be hidden cuz its running in the system tray
yeah for some reason i only JUST got the vpn today
because the website i use got banned in the uk and my brave thought i was in the uk for some reason
so i just got the vpn and put it to the us and the website started working again
Oh, I see. I would just disable it when you plan on playing valorant.
