Permanent ban after friend login – Need advice
Hi everyone,
my Valorant account was permanently banned even though I never used cheats myself.
Timeline:
1. A friend logged into my account on his own PC.
2. At that time I didn’t know he had ever used cheat software.
3. Shortly after, his own account got perma-banned for using a triggerbot.
4. My account then also got banned – even though no cheats were ever installed or used on my own PC/IP.
Riot Support denied my appeal, stating that account sharing violates the rules.
I accept that sharing my account was a mistake, but I think it’s unfair to be punished for cheats that never occurred on my system.
Does anyone know how to escalate such a case to Vanguard or higher support levels?

U r not getting unbanned gng
Is ur own pc hwid banned or can u still play with other accounts
I can still play on other accounts but i "invested" 140€ just for me getting banned. I mean my friend had some remains of a cheat on his pc and played like 2h on my account without using it. So why just ban his pc and his main acc?
Sharing account is against TOS, you broke that rule.
Whatever happens on the account, that is cheats being used on it, you are held responsible.
i would take full responsibility for acc sharing but not for cheating. He never used it on my acc, he only did on his, tried to uninstall it (it failed i guess), played legit on mine. So if on his pc are remains of cheats but he didnt use them on mine, why am i getting banned for this sh
When u first launch the game on ur account, you need to say you read the terms. The terms explain that they could change at any time, but at the time they mention that you must not give anyone else your account credentials.
Breaking any of the terms could result in ur account being revoked no matter how much you spend on it.
This is what happened.

Cheats was mostly definitely loaded on pc when he was playing on your acc, even if he wasn’t it using on the acc.
You’re not getting unbanned. Play on an alt account. And get the €140 from the cheating loser.
I understand that Vanguard can trigger a ban if cheat software is loaded in the background on a PC, even if it is not actively used in-game.
This is exactly why I want to clarify:
-Such software was never installed or loaded on my own PC.
-My account was only flagged because it was logged in once from another PC that had previously had cheats present.
-On my own hardware/IP, there has never been any such process.
What part do you not understand?
You didn’t cheat on your pc that’s why you’re not HWID BANNED.
Your friend on the other hand cheated, so every acc logged on while cheats are active will be PERM banned.
I know I made a mistake by trusting my friend with my account, and I fully understand your rules.
It’s just hard to accept losing my account over something I didn’t do myself – especially knowing I also lost about €140 worth of skins that my friend still owes me for.
I’m not trying to make excuses, I just hope someone can see the human side of this situation.
Thank you for hearing me out.
Best you can do is call ur credit card company and attempt a charge back. If this goes through, this will prevent you from making purchases with Riot (or even others) in the future tho. This is your only option to recover your money.
Just to make you aware
@Chaosjay787
account sharing is TOS so the ban is correct on riots end and most likely will not get removed.
