Alr so after asking AI, and a lot of people that know more than me, I want to know what you think.
If I have 1 MO, 1 Raccoon, and 1 QB, is it more efficient to keep the QB, or remove the QB, when trying to mimic/refresh the raccoon. Here's the thing. MO can mimic the pollinate ability from the QB, so adding a QB will not guarentee a mimic anymore, while just having a MO and a Raccoon will guarantee a mimic every time. I just want you to calculate it, and see which is more efficent. Personally, I am leaning more to removing the QB, but what do you think?

Well, 1 mimic octopus mimics once every twenty minutes. Now there is 1/2 chance of triggering a raccoon, and 1/2 chance of triggering a queen bee. Now if you check Mimic Octopuses' page, we can see that mimic octopus will only perform the first ability of a pet, and the first ability of the queen bee is pollinate. Finally, every 23 minutes, the queen bee will trigger either a mimic octopus or a raccoon.
This means that the mimic octopus only does 1/2 a raccoon trigger every 20 minutes, and the queen bee does a 3/4 raccoon trigger too every 23 minutes. [Since mimic octopus has 1/2 chance of queen bee and 1/2 chance of raccoon, and 1/2 + 1/21/2 = 3/4]. This is a total of 1+1/4 of a raccoon trigger every ~20 minutes [we're rounding 23 to 20].
Compare this to the base rate of 1 raccoon trigger per 20 minutes for 1 mimic octopus and 1 raccoon. This means that it is actually better to have the queen bee, but only if you have 1 mimic octopus.
As similar calculations show, two mimic octopuses will do 1 raccoon trigger, and the queen bee now has 1/3 + 2/31/2 = 2/3 of triggering a raccoon. This amounts to 1 + 2/3 raccoon abilities per 20 minutes, compared to 2 raccoon abilities per 20 minutes.
With 3 mimic octopuses it gets worse. Three mimic octopuses do 1 + 1/2 raccoon triggers per 20 minutes, and the queen bee does 1/4 + 3/4*1/2 = 5/8 of triggering a raccoon. This adds to 2 + 1/8 raccoon triggers per 20 minutes, compared to the base rate of 3 raccoon triggers per 20 minutes.
In conclusion, for your setup, keep the queen bee, but if you have more than 1 mimic octopus, remove it.
