Subject: Severe Ping Spikes on Bahrain/Cape Town Servers Around EU5 Update
Hello Riot Support,
A few days before the EU5 update, I started experiencing occasional ping spikes while playing on the Bahrain and Cape Town servers. Before that, my ping was always stable at around 80–90 ms. Even during those few days before the update, my ping would usually stay between 70–100 ms but spike from time to time.
After the EU5 update, the problem became much worse. Now, my ping often jumps to 1000–2000+ ms and stays that way for long periods, making the game unplayable. I’ve restarted my PC, router, and modem several times, but the issue hasn’t improved.
The in-game menu shows a normal “menu ping” (and the same in The Range), but once I enter an actual match, the latency becomes extremely high and unstable.
Please investigate this issue or let me know if there are any troubleshooting steps specific to these servers.
