Battery issue
It looks like one of the batteries that came with my new Corne kit doesn't work. Keyboard works when plugged in, Right half works fine even wireless, but the left half immediately disconnects when I remove the charging cable. I have ensured that the battery JST is seated all the way as well as ensured that all pins are seated on the nice nano, however, this has not helped

Got it — it definitely sounds like the left half’s battery may be faulty or not making proper contact. Since the board works fine when plugged in and the other side works wirelessly, the issue is isolated to that battery or its connection.
A few things to check before we confirm it’s dead:
1. Power switch position – The battery will only charge if the power switch is on while plugged in. If it’s off, the keyboard will run from USB but the battery won’t charge at all.
2. Try swapping batteries – If you switch the two halves’ batteries, you can confirm whether the problem follows the battery (faulty battery) or stays with the PCB (possible JST jack issue).
3. Inspect battery wires & connector – Look for loose wires at the JST plug or visible damage to the cable.
4. Test charging time – If the power switch is on, leave it charging for ~2 hours, then unplug and see if it runs on battery.
If after swapping batteries the issue follows the battery, then it’s almost certainly a defective battery and we can help you replace it.
If it stays with the PCB, it might be a JST jack or power circuit problem.

Y'know what, darn thing was not charged. Damn Chinese batteries 😭 thanks Nick and Mike and team for another wonderful product. Happy customer! Really liking the aluminum case for this.
