Discord Screenshare Flicker
On Bazzite-Gnome-Nvidia-Open, whenever i want to stream something on discord, throughout the top of the screen it can look like it glitches and tears.
on bazzite-nvidia-open, this issue does not exist (so apparently, a GNOME + gnome-desktop-portal exclusive issue)
does anyone else have this issue - and if possible, does anyone know of a fix? i dont have a perfect way of showcasing it in a video, but i think a few minor glitches should be visible in the recording. it usually looks like the top of the screen is tearing, or even worse - tearing with black spots.

RTX 4090

just to point it out, error still exists even on the newest image
try vesktop instead? the official discord client kind of sucks for screensharing
I have the same flickering issue and I also use Gnome. with nearly the same specs (Ryzen 7800X3D with an RTX 4070) and I saw a video that explained that Linux Discord, and Vesktop does not know how to endcode videos with Nvidia GPU so all the videos you screenshare run off your CPU and htats why it is so dookie.
The flickering only tends to occur for me when I try to stream a specific application
Choosing to stream the entire screen with audio solves it for me
Same
like whenever I try to stream sonic racing crossworlds, it occurs, but not the finals
I just realized, when I used linux (I transitioned back to windows) I didnt turn off hardware acceleration. perhaps that could help with the screenshare issues
using ptb vesktop works!!!
