Tried Olga Camiceria MTM for the first time – thoughts & fit check
So I finally pulled the trigger on some online MTM shirts from Olga Camiceria (small Milan-based maker, decent rep on StyleForum) and figured I’d share how it went + get a fit check from you guys.
Why Olga?
I’ve got a wide neck and broad shoulders, so RTW is always a compromise: either I can breathe but I’m swimming in fabric, or I get the right body fit and suffocate when buttoning the top. Olga lets you measure yourself (or have a tailor do it) and customize pretty much everything.
The order:
White poplin & light blue fil-a-fil (mid-tier €85 fabrics – 2-ply cotton)
Forward point collar (“italiano”)
Single slanted cuff, French placket, box pleats
Extra collar + cuffs for each shirt (€10)
Process:
Measured at my local alterations tailor, noted I have most of my fullness in the front and square shoulders.
Next day Olga emailed me to double-check my collar & shoulder measurements (my tailor had done the shoulder wrong — straight line instead of curve). Nice catch.
Production took 11 days (they say 20–30).
Before shipping, they found a stitching issue, sent the shirts back to fix, then shipped 5 days later.
Shipping to Europe is ~€13, plus €10 surcharge if you order just one shirt.
Fit:
First try-on (pre-wash) = loose, especially the neck. I was told they’d shrink after the first wash — they did. Now they feel mostly good.
Sleeves are a bit long (fold/bunch above the wrist).
Slight collar roll.
Slightly roomy in the lower torso.
Otherwise, I’m pretty happy for a first go — Olga’s customer service was great and the construction looks clean.

What do you think? Worth tweaking sleeve length, torso, or collar for the next order?
