Going through the microsoft training, do i NEED Visual Studio Code?

I have Visual Studio 2022 and I was told this would be perfect to learn with. including .NET, but the tutorials I've been going through had a whole section where you install it, and I did, but I just kind of like VS 2022 more if I'm being honest.

you do not, in fact VS Code is harder for beginners to work with VS is completely fine and usually a better choice or $freerider, but rider vs VS is mostly personal preference

You can download and install visual studio community from the following link https://visualstudio.microsoft.com/downloads/! When installing it, the 3 basic workload to select based on what you want to do are:
