Valorant Microstutters + Spikes in CPU Wait Time GPU

Hi, I keep getting microstutters during game and I see a lot of CPU Wait Time GPU spikes. I've a laptop with the following specs: - i9 14900Hx - RTX 4070 Things I've already tried: - DDU with different drivers - Different Sync settings, reflex off, on, boost. - Different settings in Nvidia control panel. Prefer max performance. - CPU, GPU Overclock. - Checked CPU, GPU temps. CPU temps under 95 and GPU under 75. No thermal or power throttling. - Decreasing mouse polling rate, 1000 -> 125. - No background apps. No overlays. - Enabling/Disabling high precision event time, game mode, HAG. - Disable full screen optimization. Run as admin. High game priority. Game affinity to P-cores. - Different resolutions, power options. - Reinstall valorant, vanguard, windows. Please help with the issue, I've already spent many hours trying to understand the issue with no luck. Its super annoying to upgrade only to not be able to play smoothly. :val_PeepoSad:

nono don't revert because you have 14th gen intel cpu do windows + x -> event viewer double click on windows logs -> system look for errors and send photo

Ye, I'm back on the latest version now. I don't see much errors but mostly warnings Filtering by errors: There were bunch of DistributedCOM errors yesterday. Then there are a couple of these, Ig at every startup :Omen_Think: :
The event logging service encountered an error while initializing publishing resources for channel Microsoft-Windows-USBVideo/Analytic. If channel type is Analytic or Debug, then this could mean there was an error initializing logging resources as well.

yea they don't really help me tho its ok if you don't have any errors showing do you have an app installed by default by your manufacturer where you can switch from high performance mode to balanced...?

I don't see such button. I havent tweaked much settings tho Btw, my CPU usage is like 10-15% and Gpu 25-30%. All settings low

Just tried this, did not help 🙁 One more thing I realized is that my GPU always sits at 1650MHz. It never increase its clock speed. I tried increasing gpu priority and max perf in nvidia but didnt work. In other games, GPU seems to be fine. 🤔

do you have any other game where you can see if the clock speed is static or maybe even cinebench to test

@jpplol Just tried this: Furmark: Clock was non-static and peaked 2535. GPU Power max: 140W. Cyberpunk: On performance mode (Lenevo Vantage), the clock was static at 2520. On balanced, clock was non-static around 2000-2100 Valorant: Static 1650 on both performance and balanced. Temp < 65, power < 25W. AH, I think I figured out something. So, when I run valorant on my laptop screen I get high clock speed. But in external monitor, I get static 1650Mhz. For other games, external monitor is able to get high clock speed so I don't think its an issue with DP cable. Not sure how to fix it tho. Laptop screen and monitor have same specs, 2K with 240Hz. My monitor: samsung odyssey g7
