Finally replacing my thursday boots… but need advice on what with.

Okay, we’re doing this. Fed up of wearing them as the soles on the verge of falling off and I dislike what the company stand for so don’t care to get them repaired, plus I’m now in a position where I can afford to get some new boots.

I’m looking for:

• Brown plain leather (no grain)
• Goodyearwelted
• Around ~£250… ideally under this but some flex in this but ideally not much more.

In terms of styling, I’ve attached a pair of NPS boots I quite like the look of as vague inspiration. I’m open to both plain or capped boots, but generally prefer a less ‘bulbous(?)’ toe box. For that reason I’m more or less dead set against Red Wing Iron Rangers as I dislike the way the toe kicks up at the front (see 3rd image). Checked out some stuff by William Lennon, which I like but not sure on the soles as segs aren’t particularly practical for me. I’ve also attached some by Berwick 1707 which are nice, but dislike the grain.

I’d prefer to buy these new, but am willing to go second hand for the right thing. I’m aware I’ll be slightly limited in choice due to a relatively small budget hence the willingness to flex a bit on the price. UK based so would need to have stockists over here.
