Missing a Handy Way to Find My Photos

In version 1.138.0, it seems the feature to locate search results by picture has been removed. Although the search results don’t always return the exact image I’m looking for, I used to rely on them to pinpoint the approximate time the photo was taken, which helped me find the right one in the timeline. Could add it back in the future release ?

You have added all labels lol. Could you clarify if you're talking about web or mobile?

Yes using beta timeline

The beta timeline is beta for a reason. Bugs are to be expected and features may be missing still

I understand. Is there any chance this feature will be reinstated in a future release?
Daniel

Yes of course When we release the new timeline it'll have all features the current one has

Got it, thanks Daniel. Appreciate the heads-up. Just hoping the new timeline brings back the full feature set soon—some of us have way too much media to sift through without it 😅 Looking forward to seeing how it all shapes up!

You don't have to use the beta if you don't want to You can still use the current timeline

The beta version feels way smoother than the current timeline—especially with my huge photo library, it loads much faster. Really appreciate the support, and I’ve gotta say, I absolutely love using Immich!
