like why are integral p3p4 and integral p4p5 opposite in sign
integralofe^2v
integralofe^2v4mo ago
because B . dl is negative as they kind of are antiparallel

the red are MF lines and blue is dl vector and if u take dot product bw them u get negative sign cuz angle between them is more than 90 right?

In first diagram u can see alpha cant be zero as u move along line l so angle between l and B and never be more than 90 so there dot product can never positive In second diagarm i even showed a example at point P4

Lmao i js realised i draw mf field lines wrong direc but yea what u did is correct Just basically walk on the path ur taking line integral of and see if comp of B along tht path is along the path ur walking or opposite of it
