user language

Hi, is there a way to setup different language for each user? I've been looking for this in the docs and github issues but haven't found, sorry if it is actually explained somewhere. Thank you

Yes, from the user's settings

mmm, weird then. when I change the language for user A and change user to B, even browser, I get the user A lang instead of the user B lang. actually there's not user lang I just see app settings, maybe I'm changing in another place

Are you sure you’re not using admin settings but actual user settings? It’s an app setting (admin) and a profile setting (admin as well all other users have that)

Well I'm not actually sure, but user B is not admin and I can only change app settings, there is no user language (that I can see)

Account settings > app settings > language And you’re right It puts it to the same language even for admin if I change a non admin language setting Didn’t ever notice that before

ok at least i'm not nuts 🙂 should i open a issue at github or is there a trigger from here?

Now I can again not replicate this ????? 1. Logged in as non-admin 2. Changed language in user-settings?isOpen=app-settings 3. Went to other browser, logged in as super-admin. Language is still as it should be there This seems to be some crazy cache issue.

Isn't language set for the device? I.e. per browser?

mmm, sorry if language is set per device then why do we have the option to change it? I know smth's wrong but I don't have a pattern to say what exactly is wrong.

Well it’s a „user“ setting or „profile“ so it is expected to be for that user and it clearly isn’t not if in the same browser at least Yet, the change is instant. So that means it’s likely a cookie set and not a dB option.

Technically the setting is within the "App Settings", which one could argue refers to the currently running web app. But yeah, not really obvious. But none of the settings carry over to another browser for me. Edit: and the changed settings do show up in the local storage of the web app
