Increased MSPT after updating (Fabric)
Hello, I updated my server from fabric 1.20.1 to fabric 1.21.5. Tried to keep the same mods but i noticed that the mspt average increased by about 5 mspt everywhere and there are big spikes (especially in the nether). Is there any way to fix this (without sacrificing vanilla physics, its a tech server)?

1.21.5 mods

1.20.1 mods
also keep getting this

...?
Why are you using client mods on the server?
Iris? Malilib? Freecam? Sodium? Shulker tooltip?
Two lists arent even the exact same, what are you expecting
Yea I removed those, same result
notice how you have more optimization mods on 1.20.1 compared to 1.21.5
Canβt make them the exact same, starlight is implemented in vanilla and bug fixes got fixed so no need for those either
So even still the performance should be similar
starlight is not the only one missing though?
The 3 memory leak mods got patched
And the rest were QOL mods that didnβt impact performance or even touch it
As theyβre not performance mods
you are getting your mspt reports from spark, right? The number of entities ticking can also affect that
I donβt get how updating the server would effect entities
With no players online?
Yeah even with no players on
so what is your mspt before/after
Iβll give you some references
In our little βtownβ (some farms) and houses, 1.20.1 15-17 mspt
1.21.5 20-24 mspt
Nether roof 1.20.1 18-19 mspt
1.21.5 26-30 mspt
Check entities, half of the mob cap is filled on the roof
care to share the profiler link?
Lemme go try to get it
spark
spark is a performance profiler for Minecraft clients, servers, and proxies.
This is with no one on rn
Once someone joins it just increases a fuck ton
Lemme add a carpet bot to show you
well before/after the carpet bot the world entity count increased by more than 10 times
yea
Did mob cap go up from 1.20.1 to 1.21.5?
Dunno, do you have a backup of your 1.20.1 server to compare with?
Uh, kinda
Itβs a CMP
1.20.1
Same mods
Flat world
Iβm thinking it might be the async plugin clashing with some other shit
That might be the culprit I think
