Suit fit check and suggestions for shoes and accessories/flourishes
I’m looking for thoughts of how this suit fits. Some feedback is that this jacket seems boxy. This is the JCrew Ludlow and I’m wondering if I should go for a non slim cut?
Also, any suggestions on shoes? I’d like to go for something perhaps a tad more adventurous than derbies. Maybe loafers? Also, should I consider a pocket square?

Imo most of the other questions are up to you.
Slim fit isn’t on trend right now, but doesn’t mean it looks bad if it fits well. Up to you how much on trend you want to be. But from this angle it doesn’t look egregiously 2010s skinny or anything.
Pocket square? Yeah you should consider anything. Try em out! I like em. Some people here hate em. Also up to you. I think they look better when they complement but don’t exactly match the tie.
loafers, tyrolean shoes (paraboot, kleman, etc), huaraches, whole cuts, slipper loafers, square toes, fisherman sandals, etc
tho theres also fairly infinite variation even with derbies/oxfords/dress boots
I like the huaraches a lot. I’ll be wearing a navy knit tie do you think brown is the color to go for? Do you recommend any brands? I’m okay buying from eBay to keep the cost down

there were a few threads in qna with good suggestions! black or dark brown would work with navy, its up to preference

I like them because the tie might provide a little more support. Should it matter if I wear traditional socks or no show socks?
up to you if the pants are cropped, if not, doesnt matter if the pants hide them
