but thats how DH looks, you can maybe try increasing the resolution of the noise in the advanced graphics settings

DH doesn't render textures
Are you using a zoom mod, or have you set your vanilla render distance very low? The LODs are supposed to be far enough in the distance that you don't really notice stuff like this
I have zoom mod but it looks like this normal too
And render distance is 2
