Error with domain validation alert email
Hello,
I recently got some emails suggesting I need to add some TXT records to my domain to validate it. This is strange because the domain is managed by Cloudflare's nameservers anyway. The email is screenshotted here. I've added those entries and then visited the requested certvalidate.cloudflare.com address, and authorised against the form, and then I am getting a form error. There is no support to reach out to besides this. Any thoughts?

Maybe due to DNS propagation delay?
I checked your website and it was working in https, so I think it;s working correctly now
Thanks! I think it's fine also but these emails suggest if I don't accept this by the 1st CF will stop serving SSL, but I can't seem to accept the form due to the error, and I keep getting the email on a more frequent basis.
The hint here is the vidgrid2 hostname. It looks like in 2024-09-06 you set up something on that subdomain. Either a Pages Custom Domain, or a Workers Custom Domain, etc, and you never removed the underlying custom domain, just switched the record, so it's still trying to issue
Ahhh I deleted the pages project associated with that. Maybe if I delete the record also it'll all go away. Thank you! 🙏
hmmm.. I've thrown the worker back online on the same subdomain that's now resolving, but the Certificate Approval page is still throwing errors 🤷♂️

If you readded the custom domain or whatever that page still is going to refer to the old cert that is abandoned
Okay, I'll give it 24hrs and see if I get another notification, thanks for your suggestion!
i'm on the same boat! added it and its still throwing error. how would i know if this is fixed?
Good news is I added the pages project back and the error emails disappeared, and it's now past September and my cert is still being served. I've then gone into more effort to fully remove the pages project and have had no emails since that either.
