Mobile resyncs photos I FULLY delete in web
Previous discussions suggested it won’t do that, but it does.
1. sync from mobile
2. delete in web (delete from trash too)
3. see how it resyncs from mobile
Replicated with a single clean photo:
- add to iPhone photos
- wait for sync
- make sure it’s on web
- delete on web (delete from trash too)
- see how app resyncs it as soon you reopen
Beta timeline on latest versions
This appears to happen only AFTER you delete from trash

Successfully submitted, a tag has been added to inform contributors. :white_check_mark:expected behavior at the moment, there is work going on to show you a list of deleted assets that are still present on the local device so you can choose to delete them
so you can choose to delete themMeaning, the choice would then be to delete from iCloud, basically? So for now workaround is "do not delete online trash", if I get you correctly? Note that in a previous exchange a contributor (or is it mod, when they have that
IMCH
tag on discourse) advised me it wont happen. Just pointing this out as it might not be clear to all 😉
It is not something making me nuts so all good lol. Interesting is also that the re-upload of those assets is astonishingly fast, almost as if... they where still there 😛No, you can also use Immich mobile app to clean up those assets, if you choose to Delete from the mobile app, it will ask if you want to delete from your iCloud as well
Anyone can have the
IMCH
tag, only the different name's colors are either Support Crews, Contributors, Admin or TeamWorked, thanks
