Uninstall system packages
Hey,
To uninstall, say, sunshine or waydroid, how would I go about it?
Or any system package actually

You don't, the base system is read only and distributed as a whole
Yeah but say I'm looking to uninstall some, custom images are the only way?
If you want to install system packages, you can layer them or try other methods like brew, distrobox container etc.
oh mb, yea if you want to uninstall use custom image
custom image is the only way
uninstalling them will use more storage space on your drive, not less
because they are part of the base image
the better option is to just leave them alone
Wait how
the base image still contains the files
and you add a new layer that contains instructions on how to remove them
meaning: more storage used
not less
That is if you make it a new layer but a fork is like a new image
if you create a custom image in github then it won't, yes
