Anyone else having an issue with the SMM crashing while installing Rearchitector Redux?

Here's my debug log...this isn't the only reason or first time my smm has crashed. I've relocated the db to another drive with very loose security so, it isn't because of it's location. I've even loosened the security on the smm directory in case it was having issues with writing necessary files there. Gotta love windows...

do you mean SMM (the mod manager application you use to install mods) crashing or the game crashing once mods are installed? (just to double check) Assuming you do actually mean SMM, that'll be very hard to track down as currently crashes don't output anything to the SMM log included in your debug zip

Oh snap. Yeah. I'm talking about the mod manager itself. Wish I knew how to get the information you need to track this...

@Mircea (Area Actions) assuming debugging this won't be possible til the next release?

You can get the crash if you run SMM from the terminal I think It might still not show anything because of how windows GUI apps work

I'll do what you need... 🙂 how do I do this?

Open command prompt (or terminal), get the path to the SatisfactoryModManager.exe, and paste it there and press enter If it works correctly, you should start seeing SMM's logs in there, and the crash will be there too when it does crash

run the app through terminal also? no logs posted in the terminal after crash. @Mircea (Area Actions) I don't know if this will help - I can turn mods off and then back on and it will download the mods with no issues. I can turn on one mod (or install) without a crash. After that the mod manager crashes. Am I the only one having this issue?

I've had it randomly crashing 3 times while installing any mod, but nothing consistent since when it happens it still install the mod, but to make sure I always uninstall the mod and install again and it works fine this time

i raised this issue with the devs of SMM a while back and from my knowledge there cant be any logs when it crashes like that. they also do not rlly know why it happened (at least thats the last thing i heard about this issue) and therefor cannot rlly help unless someone figures out a way to get some info about the crash because this issue happens to me almost everytime i install a mod and since i install alot of mods it gets frustrating quickly
