Easiest way to download all my photos onto my device from Ente, without re-uploading duplicates?
I'd like to download all my photos onto my device as most of my photos on Ente are from previous phones, what would be the best way to download them all so they're stored on my device? Would it be a simple case of selecting all then pressing download and waiting, or perhaps going onto the desktop app and exporting the data then moving it into my device storage with a USB drive?

To download all your photos from Ente to your device, you can use the desktop app to export your data to a local drive. This ensures you have a copy of your original photos and videos available.
To export your data, sign in to the desktop app, select the "Export Data" option in the sidebar, choose a destination folder, and click "Start". If the download gets interrupted, Ente will continue from where it left off. See https://help.ente.io/photos/migration/export for more details.
Alternatively, you can use Ente's CLI tool to export your data; see https://github.com/ente-io/ente/tree/main/cli#export for more information. The exports are incremental and handle interruptions gracefully.
When importing photos, if your uploads get interrupted, just drag and drop the folders into the same albums again, and Ente will ignore already backed up files and upload just the rest. @T either approach would work. We've not tested large exports on the mobile app, moving exported files to mobile should work without troubles
The app will run through these items, realize they are dupes and skip upload
