Our Legacy belt sizing help
I threw this in the brand channel but wonder if it'll get more traction here.
Can anyone help with Our Legacy belt sizing? OL says "The belt has a width of 2 cm and measures 80 cm, 90 cm or 100 cm from the end to the middle belt hole - including the buckle."
But most belts size from the end of the buckle/start of the leather, no? On most of my belts the hole I use is 90cm almost exactly -- but that's measured like this pic, from the start of the belt.
On most my belts, I use the hole at 34-35, or about 90cm, but that's not factoring in OL's big ass buckle. I emailed them and got a pretty unhelpful answer:
The belt is measured straight and laid flat, the measurement has been taken from the middle hole to the end of the metal buckle. It's hard to show on a picture since we don't have any pictures where the belt is laid flat on a surface.I could always go up to 100cm and add an extra hole, but wondering if the 90's too small. The only Toronto stockist that has 'em is sold out in the 90 and closed today/tomorrow.

oh yeah i've been thru all the reddit threads. i think what's tripping me up is just that because their measurement includes the buckle it offsets the holes by a bit.
This trashed black belt I’m trying to replace is around 89cm to the most used hole if I measure like my example, but 93cm if I include the entire buckle.
This is the part where I point out I overthink and have a brain problem lol.

famously helpful ssense measurements. they say the first hole on a 90cm is 35" and that the model, who has a 26" waist, wears a 90.

i just bought and returned an ol belt. what is ur waist and I can tell you what you need. 90cm is like for ~30-33. I would go 100 for 34+
I would probably just go 100 if you are anywhere around 32-35 tbh
so i wanted mine to mega dangle
i got the 100 and an awl
in a 35-36 waist and the 100 double belt was a little big but now it dangles and is fun as was the hope
Usually a 17-17.5” waist does me right. Generally a pretty true 34 these days.
It sounds like the 100cm might work -- I'll pop by Lost & Found on Friday maybe and give it a cinch.
