GPU usage with UGREEN DXP2800
Hello,
I’ve been using Immich for about a month. I installed it via Docker, on Portainer, running on my Ugreen DXP2800 NAS.
To start learning and testing, I set it up by linking my existing photo and video folders (around 9TB of data) as external read-only libraries.
On the first installation, after completing the setup, Immich worked hard for about three days. After that, everything was running great, and I’m quite sure it was also making use of the GPU.
Later, when new versions were released, I mistakenly deleted everything and reinstalled from scratch.
Now, with the latest version, Immich has been working non-stop for four days on my NAS, but I’m almost certain it’s no longer using the GPU, even though I configured it the same way as before. ChatGPT also suggested that recent versions of Immich might not support the Intel GPU in my NAS anymore.
Could you please help me understand whether this heavy, seemingly endless processing is really due to the GPU not being supported, or if there might be another issue? What should I check to better diagnose this?
Thank you very much for your support.

- Logs from all the containers and their status (see above).
- All the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far.
- Any recent changes you've made to Immich or your system.
- Details about your system (both software/OS and hardware).
- Details about your storage (filesystems, type of disks, output of commands like fdisk -l
and df -h
).
- The version of the Immich server, mobile app, and other relevant pieces.
- Any other information that you think might be relevant.

If this ticket can be closed you can use the /close
command, and re-open it later if needed. You will need to post the requested info. The n100 should be supported for both HW Accel and ML as far as I know
This is my stack on portainer
I don't know if you need more, i'm using v1.139.4
Do you have hw accel enabled in the actual immich settings?
Also to get accel for ML you need to use the openvino tag I believe
yes I have it... in fact on the machine learning container there is : EXECUTION_PROVIDERS OpenVINOExecutionProvider
I don't know enough about non root deployements. I see you have that environemnt variable but the actual container image is the default one, not the open vino
