Can't access locked folder
Hi, I'm new to Immich and hosting it on hexos. I have an cheeky pic on my phone that I didn't want to delete but I didn't want to be visible in the timeline on Immich.
I tried putting it in a folder on immich, but this didn't take it off the timeline. I then did some googleing and discovered the archive feature is being used for managing private images so I archived it. Then I noticed something called "move to locked folder" which sounded more promising than archive.
I tapped this move to locked folder button and the image disappeared, from folder timeline and archives. However when I tap on the locked folder menu item on my phone nothing happens, I can't see a locked folder on the desktop version through hexos anywhere. I tried to just moving another image to the locked folder to test if this was some interaction between archive and locked folder but the non-archived image also does not seem to be in the locked folder or I cannot access the locked folder if it's in there.
Can anyone help? I would really like to retrieve my image it's a classic 🤣

I've logged in and out of app, it's definitely not there on the web interface either the mobile interface or when I click desktop view (on my phone browser)
What versions of the mobile app and server are you on?
App is 1.139.4
Struggling to find the Immich version, I know that it wasn't up-to-date because the latest one wasn't available on hexos

I can't believe things are working at all. Having that large of a gap between the server and mobile app will cause a lot of weird / broken functionality

AKA locked folders aren't supported by the server until 133
Is updating going to help things? Should I root around in the folder structure for this image? Am I best trying to retrieve it from my Android device I believe it's still there somewhere
Okay I found the photo in the Google photos app bin
If it's important yes I would look in the android device to find and move it.
But basically I wouldn't trust the immich app to be reliable and or sync correctly right now with that large of a gap between server and app versions.
133 specifically calls out the mobile app needs to be in sync with the server verision
I'm really uncomfortable with this knocking around somewhere on my server and not knowing exactly where it is!

Well do what you will now with this info. But I wouldn't really trust the mobile app working with the server at this point until things are more in line.

Well I think I need to update my hexos as I haven't done that yet so maybe that will update the new Immich, I won't update immich on its own, only through the UI of hexos
Yeah but as your Immich is 1.131, you'll have issues to update to latest
You can upgrade hexOs, that is fine though
But for the Immich, you'll first have to update to 1.132 before going any furhter, and the update button on Truenas and Hexos only updates to the latests available

That is the current version of immich on your hexOs, right?
