I have to bend the Arduino to get the ide to recognise it
The board is an Arduino nano every, I checked the cable and it works fine with any other device. Do I have to resolder the usb or do I send the Arduino back? Should I clean it maybe? Please help

Idk if you can send to arduino to repair it
well, im not actually bending the board. I believe what has to be bent is the micro usb connector to make the pins in the cable and board connect properly, so in theory i could just bend it when uploading the code and use it normally, as the only compromised part is the connector, the rest seems to work fine.
probably have a solder crack on one or more of the USB pins
is that fixable?
perhaps, depends on your skill and / or if the pins are under the USB connector
oh thanks. For now i think i will live with it as i intend to use this board for an rc car and never take it out, so having to bend it while uploading the code once shouldnt be that big of a problem
Well if can return it, might as well return it and get an new one if you have time.
