dont want to go to college
waste of money and our degrees become irrelevant when we get into the workforce anyways
and who wants another 4 years of math class anyway

why
ME
is piloting a degree
magic-amberβ’2mo ago
maybe if you want to not kill everyone on board
ok but it literally isnt a degree
itβs a license
a certification
magic-amberβ’2mo ago
isnt a certification kind of a fancy degree
β¦no
is a drivers license a degree

i'm hoping for engineering
vicious-goldβ’2mo ago
no
degrees and certifications are different
for instance, you can go to college and get a degree in IT work, but you might still need to take the CompTIA test and get CompTIA certified to get hired for a career so they know you have all the knowledge needed to assess and fix broken systems
Usually degrees come with certifications like medical school and getting medical licenses but they are still two different things
Because yes, you need to finish medical school to get a license, but the license itself still has to be earned through tests itself and showing you actually know what youre doing and arent winging it and forgot it all or smth

if that was the case I'd have a motorboat degree (doesn't exist)
does "technician" count as a degree
in poland to be called a technician you have to go to a specific vocational school and pass technical exams
