No Extrusion

Hi, I’ve inherited this printer and have encountered what I think is my first clog. When loading new filament I can’t get anything to extrude. I’m hesitant to start taking the tool head apart because I don’t want to mess anything up, so I’m looking for confirmation on the right steps and how to do so. Any insight would be appreciated!

Is the hotend up to temp before you try to extrude? Do you have the silicone sock that is supposed to cover the hotend?

It is up to temp before attempting, and yes I had just taken the sock off to get a better look

kk. Do you have a needle or something thinner than the nozzle outlet to poke it with? Also, you can take the extruder motor off. Couple m3 screws on the wings of the Orbiter. Pop that off and you can poke from above

I do, and it went in maybe 1/4”? I’ll look at removing the motor tomorrow

Just use the build guide that shows attaching the orbiter to the plate

is that available online? If that's documentation that came with the purchase of the printer, I do not have that. It was inherited, not everything came with it.

Online it’s called the vcore4 commissioning guide https://docs.ratrig.com/v-core-4-0/build-guide step 8 the toolhead
