DistantHorizons destroys server performance
I have a Server running using DistantHorizons, I lowered the settings, chunk generation only to pregenerated chunks and low cpu impact. However it absolutely destroys the performance, how can I lower the settings even more? Or can I completely disable it serverside? I do not want to take it out of my Modpack

How many cores does the server have available
4

thats your client?
Or does the server run on the same device
spark
spark is a performance profiler for Minecraft clients, servers, and proxies.
No sry
This is the profile
Is this on one of those free oracle servers
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4690T CPU @ 2.50GHz.
Thats not a lot of CPU
With that CPU I'd expect it to run terribly
No its my own
You can remove DH from the server, but it will still work fine if you have it on the client, it just won't generate chunks around you
Ok can I disable it from command line?
just delete it from the mods folder
Yeah I have it in a Docker container so it is not that easy
But thanks I will try it
Can you recommend a CPU that works well? I have C2ME and Co for multithreading
Something like a ryzen 5 3600x would already be pretty good, the cpu you have is just really old. It doesn't even have multithreading
Ah yes thats, what I have on my main PC maybe I will upgrade sometimes, thanks 🙏
That will for sure be able to support a server with a few players and DH
