tmod creating a new instance under steamapps/common instead of documents
after backing up my terraria and tmod files i deleted onedrive and now tmod opens under steamapps/common for some reason instead of user/documents.

the steamapps/common tmodloader folder has the actual tmodloader game while documents have your user data
