KDE Connect can't send files
Error in journalctl:
kdeconnectd[3574]: kdeconnect.core: CompositeUploadJob::startListening() - Error opening a port in range 1739 - 1764
Firewall rules are present to allow the ports.
Issue seems to be from KDEConnect using every single one of these ports for things that I don't recognise. I don't want to mess with it without knowing what I'm doing. Anyone know what I should do in this situation?
Solution:I solved it by just disabling a bunch of the plugins that I didn't need under the KDE plugin config and then restarting.
It looks like there's just too many things it tries to do but not enough ports to do all of them. Unsure if it'll come back, but for now I can send files finally.
EDIT: The fix was technically restarting, but the error comes back again after a while....Jump to solution

ios?
Bazzite to SteamOS and Android. Same issue with both.
I tested between my Steam Deck and Phone and it works fine both ways. It's specifically only Bazzite.
Also it kinda looks like all the ports are already occupied by Bazzite for other uses, most of which I don't recognise.

How do I unmark as solved? It came back despite not doing anything with the config after this.
how do you send file? like wifi or bluetooth?
Unsure, how can I check? Bluetooth is on on all the devices mentioned. I just hit share with KDE Connect.
