Death Stranding Suddenly not syncing saves
So I am playing death stranding from the epic store on my steamdeck and on my pc, syncing saves from one another. It was working fine until yesterday when I tried to findout why the steam shortcut for the game wasn't working, and chaged some settings on my steam deck (didn't touch the PC).
Now I play on the steam deck, normally (steam shortcut working now, previously was launching heroic inside steam), exit and check syncing and it says the saves are synced to the cloud. When I go to my pc it detects the new save, says it has downloaded it but when I go ingame the save is not updated. The same happens when I play on the PC, I exist, it syncs but when I go to the deck it doesn't update the saves. It seems like both systems are uploading to a diffent place? or downloading to a different place? The thing is, I search my system for another download location for the synced saves and none show up. On the desktop saves goes to /var/mnt/ssd-nvme/Heroic/Prefixes/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/LocalLow/KojimaProductions/DeathStranding/81000cae7a02407c8426531435a66561 and on the steam deck it goes to /home/deck/Heroic/Prefixes/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/LocalLow/KojimaProductions/DeathStranding/81000cae7a02407c8426531435a66561 . On both folders there is this pfx synlink that links back to drive_c that I think is used by proton. I do not understand what is going on becacuse everything seems to be properly setup.
