Immich using up all phone storage during video upload

Hey, I’m running into an issue with the new beta timeline. Immich is using up all of my iPhone’s storage when trying to upload two large videos (17GB and 8GB). The first time, it filled up about 90GB until I had zero storage left — I’m pretty sure it would have kept going if I had more space. At that point the app just kept crashing until I uninstalled/reinstalled. After reinstall, it happened again. While trying to upload those videos, storage usage climbed to 23GB before I disabled uploads. I don’t see any errors in the logs. How can I help debug this? Device/versions: iPhone 13 Pro, iOS 18.6.2 Immich server: 1.140.1 Immich app: 1.140.0

Do you have only these two large videos? We don’t clear the app storage cache while the uploads are in progress so if you have many of those, I can see how it could be an issue

Just 2 large videos. All other photos/videos are already backed up. I didnt see any change in the storage when those were backed up No - i dont use icloud Hello. Anything I can do to help figure this out? Guessing here. I think if it starts uploading that video, and I close the app or if the upload is cancelled. It does not clear the memory? And it keeps retrying to upload and it fills up the storage.

We reset the cache every time before we start the backup. Let me think how we can debug this
