Shaders visual bug near leaves

I'm using Iris 1.9.1 and Sodium and only those, whenever I turn on shaders of any kind, there is this weird visual bug that seems to create a visual for a nonexistent leaf block underneath a leaf block (it has outlines, slightly visible textures however thoroughly translucent) Although the visual impact is minimal but it throws me off so much every time I see it so plz can anyone help

Seems like screen-space reflection artifacts. No way of eliminating them without doing world-space reflection. And we all know how expensive world-space reflection is going to be... :linus:

damn can dialing back to older minecraft versions fix this (older shaders)

Nope. Those artifacts are just how reflections are done in every shaders. Except ones that advertise themselves as "world-space path tracing" ones.

It is. Very few shaders implement world space reflections due to the performance cost Assuming the screenshot is using complementary shader, world space reflections are in development for it
