Lost permissions to brand new HDD. Permission denied for changing ownership.
Hi all.
New to both linux and bazzite. I got a new HDD yesterday and set it up and everything was fine, but suddenly today I need administrator access to enter the drive, and I didn't used to. When googling, even trying chown commands and such were denied due to lack of access.
Could anyone help me please? (Forgive me if I mislabeled the tag here; am new)

Update: I fixed it! Solution: I needed to also use the command on the parent folder.
