disabling the no z-fight mod fixes it

If your problem is what I think it is - that's literally what the mod does, according to the description It moves buildables up and down by tiny amounts so that one is always on top or below the other

but it shouldnt be noticeable right and those 2 foundations are not clipping or they shouldnt be they're just on top of each other

The mod moves all buildables up or down by a tiny amount. Any amount may end up being visible

Pretty much! You could use real nudging to resolve z fighting instead but yeah, the mod is functioning as intended

even the small increments are too big to not be noticeable

I know you can configure the increments for infinite nudge in the config but I'm not sure how small you can go

There is a vanilla trick too but it's fiddly and annoying lol You can place walls at arbitrary heights by aiming at the side of a pillar, which means you can set a level just above/below the main one Gets complicated working on separate grids though
