No Z-fighting and dismantle blueprint
Has anyone experienced small gaps in placed buildings using the dismantle blueprint with no z-fight mod enabled?

disabling the no z-fight mod fixes it
If your problem is what I think it is - that's literally what the mod does, according to the description
It moves buildables up and down by tiny amounts so that one is always on top or below the other
but it shouldnt be noticeable right
and those 2 foundations are not clipping
or they shouldnt be
they're just on top of each other
The mod moves all buildables up or down by a tiny amount. Any amount may end up being visible
oh
Especially if one has randomly moved up and the other has randomly moved down
so its flickering or gaps
Pretty much! You could use real nudging to resolve z fighting instead but yeah, the mod is functioning as intended
even the small increments are too big to not be noticeable
I know you can configure the increments for infinite nudge in the config but I'm not sure how small you can go
oh I didnt know that
ty!
There is a vanilla trick too but it's fiddly and annoying lol
You can place walls at arbitrary heights by aiming at the side of a pillar, which means you can set a level just above/below the main one
Gets complicated working on separate grids though
yea
its a pain when one part is off grid and the other isnt
appreciate your help ty!
You're welcome, hope you find something which works for you 🙂
that worked like a charm, tysm!
could go as low as 0.001 cm thats crazy
