restoring library in LXC
Hi all, i have a bit of a doozy. I am running Immich in ax LXC using the proxmox helper script. I took it upon myself to mount my unraid share as /opt/immich/upload (probably frowned upon?) and it worked fine for quite a while. then i started getting an odd error where the ML service was binding to the web interface port so i destroyed the LXC and recreted it. the problem now is that the libraries which were showing up fine the first time i set up the app this way are no longer showing in Immich, however all the photos and .immich tags are still in place on the unraid share. I'm sure what I've done here is probably outside the range of best practices, but I do not have enough storage on the small proxmox box to store all the photos my wife takes

If this ticket can be closed you can use the /close
command, and re-open it later if needed.images are not metadata, metadata is in the database
If you don't restore the database then all files in the upload location will be invisible
As for how to restore the database on the LXC container... not a clue, ask there
I assume you can use the same PSQL command but no guarantuees
Interesting, I am unsure of where that Metadata was stored but I'll take a look. But with that being said I wonder why they all imported the first time?
Do you mean you used them as external library?
No. I did set it up that way initially but then realized new photos would be stored in /upload
