it takes two ea app failed to launch game error
I followed this site as a last solution after following gpt for hours trying lutris, steam and custom wine and heroic games launcher

Solution
finally managed to run it!
I switched heroic from flatpak to native appimage
then I also needed to disable umu
when it ran succesfully first time it poped up a strange white window for ea login, logged in, worked.
