i don't think jett would wear something like this
It wasn't actually meant to have a deep meaning, just a reference study of a photo, and I chose Jett; it could be anyone. But it also sounds fun to imagine characters outside their comfort zone or personality doing different things; that's the fun part of making art
youre sexualizing a character by putting her in a suggestive outfit...
Yo man nice art looks good! Your amazing at this!! (aint in love with the clothing but hey your a free man do whatever)
Don’t listen to them the outfit is tuff

:val_Hampter:
Its only suggestive if youre suggesting something
the outfit is fairly revealing i don’t blame her for thinking that, even if her pose isn’t sexual some people are still weirdos and are gonna be more focused on that than the actual drawing
when i wear something revealing, i dont think im sexualizing myself. When someone makes a sexual comment to me thats on them.
maybe its different with drawlings tho
i would hope not!! you can wear whatever you want, it’s not really our fault people in society see things different ways
no definitely!! it’s just kind of odd when you draw a character in something they wouldn’t normally wear because it doesn’t really seem like a good use of creative freedom but more trying to pander to a certain audience
oh i see, so it really just depends on if the intentions are pandering to wierdos or not?
Just a quick reminder to please keep the discussion SFW. The artwork shared here is within our guidelines, so let’s keep the chat respectful and appropriate. Thanks! :SD_UptoSomething:
If I may suggest something (I am no artist myself so take my opinion with a grain of salt) the fingers look kinda bent to me but thats just a small tad thing I noticed. But again I suck at drawing so like this is actually awesome!
Yooo, no problem! You can comment on art even if you're not an artist. We all have eyes and perceptions of the world, so it's very common, at least I think so. I don't know about other artists LOL
And I agree. Hands are always very noticeable when it comes to mistakes, as they convey a lot of expression, trying to improve \o/
Thank you
