Rog Ally X - bazzite - HHD Overlay problem

I'm having great difficulty getting my Rog ally X to pull up the HHD Overlay/menu when using an external ps5 controller.
Is this currently a known issue?
Seems I have tried every variation of setting but it refuses to pull up any hhd menus unless I used the buttons on the handheld itself, even the keyboard shortcuts do not work.
I used to use the HHD decky plug in but now that's out of action I'm at a bit of a loss.
Any help would be massively appreciated as I have tried everything I can think of.

@OldBenKenobi try the new release from today, 42.20250916, it has Bluetooth support for external controller
