Where does sitemap info from nuxt/content go?
I configured my page as escribed here: https://nuxtseo.com/docs/sitemap/guides/content.
Is the sitemap.xml file automatically generated? if yes, under which path is it populated?

Hi @Alex. I'm kapa.ai, your friendly support bot. I will try to answer your question by searching through the knowledge base.

I’m sorry, but the provided knowledge sources don’t include details about the Nuxt SEO Sitemap module’s integration with Nuxt Content or where/when sitemap.xml is generated. They do cover Nuxt prerendering (nuxt generate / Nitro prerender) and general Content usage, but not the sitemap output path or its automatic generation behavior with @nuxtjs/sitemap/nuxt-seo. If you’re following the Nuxt SEO guide you linked, please refer to that documentation for the exact output location and generation flow, as it’s not included in the sources above. (The sources here only describe Nuxt/Nitro prerendering and Content basics, e.g., generate/prerender commands and static hosting outputs like .output/public for generated sites.) (Prerendering, Removal of top-level generate config, Content directory usage, Deploy to static hosting)

nuxt sitemap or nuxt seo sitemap?
@kapa.ai nuxt sitemap or nuxt seo sitemap/
Let me check the knowledge base for you again. One moment! :books:

I don’t have enough info in the provided sources to determine which specific sitemap module you’re referring to (“@nuxtjs/sitemap” vs “Nuxt SEO sitemap”) or their exact behavior. The sources only cover Nuxt/Content basics and prerendering, not sitemap module output paths or integration details. If you’re using Nuxt’s prerender, static assets (including any generated files) end up in .output/public when using nuxt generate, which you can deploy to static hosting, but sitemap specifics aren’t documented here (e.g., auto path, filename, or content) (Prerendering).
