Frame rate issue
In the beta testing my device unlocked super smooth with extreme frame rate but now in the 4.0 update it shows super smooth+ultra and in smooth it's already ultra since the beginning.. And It didn't really get anything better from this super smooth for me.. Same fps drops and heavy game while playing. Moreover it's worse in super smooth with the graphics looking like dusty old mansion

Not everything that is present in beta will be present in the stable version. Beta is for tweaking and collecting feedback....

Super smooth is in beta so if you can play on smooth it is much better.
As you can see in the above pic there's super smooth in the 4.0 update as well not just in beta.. But in beta extreme is unlocked under super smooth but in 4.0 update here it's just ultra in super smooth n ultra in smooth as well

I think they meant that the super smooth feature is still in beta testing which you can see in the screenshot you shared
So can I expect extreme as I saw in beta when the beta testing is over for my device or is my device capped at ultra in super smooth too?
We unfortunately don't know this information
In beta anything can happen because they let us test it if it has problems they can remove it when released .
