Being fashionable in a hot climate in Brazil

I've known this community for a while and checked out some of the guides such as the many iterations of the "Basic Bastard" and I noticed two things:
1) They seem to be tailored to people living in colder climates than I currently live in, and trying to pull them off without alteration would quite possibly bring some significant discomfort
2) They are out of place with the fashion trends in Brazil

With that in mind, i'm looking for any suggestions of styles I could adopt in my enviroment(in this part of the country, essentially a savanna) and not look "out of place", including tips as for materials and brands. I've recently gotten into uni and don't consider myself to really have my own style yet, so i'm really open minded.

Be aware the dollar/euro to real exchange ratio can be quite cruel in terms of budget.

I'm also a skinny guy(~63kg or so) with a height of 1.76cm who has to walk a not insignificant amount outdoors daily.
