So for at least 2 weeks now i can only access my library in the steamclient. Anything else (Store, community, workshop) yields "Error Code: -105
Unable to connect to server. Server may be offline or you may not be connected to the internet."
I can download and install new games and updates. I have tried flushing DNS, tried a different DNS server (8.8.8.8), different internet connections (at my parents place and mobile) also tried running "ujust fix-reset-steam". The problem remains.
If I connect to a VPN even if the VPN server is in the same country I am everything works. My VPN provide is AirVPN and I live in Norway.
EDIT: TLDR Solution: Changed DNS server used within the VPN client to 8.8.8.8
Long story: Problem was that my VPN client changed the DNS server address in a way that the internal browser of the steam client was stuck permanently trying to use that DNS server, even if the VPN client is disconnected/closed. By default my VPN client sets a DNS server address that is only accessible if connected to the VPN, thus the steamclient browser can't do no DNS lookups, unless the VPN is active.
No matter what i tried elsewhere in the system to flush/change DNS servers nothing worked. So i simply changed the DNS server option INSIDE THE VPN client to have it use something that was reachable everywhere (8.8.8.8 for example). The VPN client then applied that new DNS server address in that mysterious way/place it always does, so now the steam client always uses 8.8.8.8 as the DNS server.
