Using a Network Drive as my main storage location
Hi i am setting up Immich on a computer we will call computer 1 which is running the containers etc. and computer 2 which is running a network drive. i was able to get immich up and running up until it started to ask me to upload/ backup from my phone when i started backing up i saw there was no activity on my computer 2. i have completed the setup using chat gpt to guide me through all the various permissions etc to get to this point. The issue now is that it is storing all the photos to my C drive on computer 1 running Immich.

my OS on both computers is windows 10 Pro
the server itself works great but i cant get it to store to the right location
1. Could you also post output of the following commands
(as text: either attached or in backticks as described in Code Formatting section in the auto-post above)
2. Your
.env
does not include variables for THUMB_LOCATION and similar ..._LOCATION vars below in docker-compose. Also ...BACKUP_LOCATION... line is not properly indented. I'm wondering how it works...hi so i tried a lot of solutions and maybe i could share my process with talking to chat gpt but i have moved the physical drive to the computer running it. i do require soe help setting up nvenc. PS: i upgraded to windows 11 for GPU virtualization.
i have moved the physical drive to the computer running itIndeed the most straightforward solution :agreeGe: Go ahead and close this ticket if it's resolved. As for GPU/nvenc please create a new ticket. I guess you've already seen https://immich.app/docs/features/hardware-transcoding/
ok will do
