iOS many failures in log
Hey there. I can’t seem to get all my photos to upload fully. My photos are not saved in iCloud, I downloaded them locally. There are 25k successful but about 6k that are failing and have been for a couple days.

In order to be able to effectively help you, we need you to provide clear information to show what the problem is. The exact details needed vary per case, but here is a list of things to consider:

- Logs from all the containers and their status (see above).

- Any recent changes you've made to Immich or your system.
- Details about your system (both software/OS and hardware).

Have tried Reset SQLite Database
Server and Client are about 5 days old. Should be ~latest.
Connecting directly to local IP. No cert or URL.
I just updated to using a let’s encrypt cert on my domain, logged out and back in with the new domain, getting this:
At first glance that looks like the same asset over and over again
With some other errors in there

Considering you reset the SQLite DB you're on beta?

Would you know if this is in iCloud perhaps?
Let me make sure there are no straggler photos that havent been downloaded
I set it to download and keep originals some days ago and last I checked they were all downloaded.
I just switched to non-beta and it says I have 18.7k remainder .... I'm so sad. 😂
A little too late, but switching over kind of wipes the sync progress 🙃

It won't make duplicates but it will waste time
It does make duplicates kinda often actually I go and clear them every time. Dang. But what could be causing that missing asset error? Only iCloud? (The number still isnt loading with iCloud, waiting)
I switched back to beta and it still has the same number it did before. 5926.
Well the duplicate rejection/detection on upload is only on exact file match, so if you have something that stripped metadata, or you made an edit and it made a local copy that would duplicatethings

But does beta not download from iCloud yet?
It should, but icloud sync is not 100% there yet
right now it downloads, calculates the hash, and uploads if it doesn't collide
But having Downloaded everything from iCloud, it definitely 100% should work right?
The devs are looking to add the icloud identifier so it doesn't have to download first
You mean you did a download on desktop somewhere?
I set my actual iCloud settings on my phone to download all 156gb of photos locally.
That should prevent duplicates but the phone doesn't know what is on the server without actually checking the files

And I'm doing all my syncing from that same phone - nothing on desktop.
I'm kind of lost here by now 😛 let me ask @Alex what we should see with these errors

Yes beta timeline.
Overnight it shot back up to 22k. It keeps shooting up and I can not get through a full sync. Very frustrating

It’s re hashing
yeah for everything to report properly, the hash will need to be completed
for iCloud users it is quite a pain until the hash is finished
But it was completed last night. I have the numbers in the first message
