Got invited to be at the VCT Champions Artist Alley, so I'm working my butt off to get as many artworks done as possible. Here's all agents I have done so far!

For now I'm just going with what I'm inspired by. But if there's a big demand for a specific agent, I might prioritize that agent for this painting series!

Hahaha, I'm trying! I actually tried and failed Yoru/Chamber. But I think it's because I don't have a good composition in mind yet for them. Got a cool idea for Sova though!
For Neon I still need to collect some references. She needs a very dynamic pose, otherwise it won't fit her as a character

Haha that's not the problem per se - it's about just having a vision that works with the agent and then executing it!
Like with Yoru, I had a killer idea but I ended up wasting an hour trying to figure out the comp. In the end I could not get it done
For Sova I also had an entirely different idea. I scrapped the painting, but there's a WIP shot of what it would have looked like:
It didn't fit with the whole theme of character art though, so even though I liked it, I decided to discontinue

id love to see the speed paints of some of your pieces to know how you do the colors
The valorant pieces have been a bit difficult. Most have taken me longer than 8 hours which is much longer than my average pieces. When I say 8 hours, they are broken up over one or two days. There are some artworks where I was just stuck and needed 12 to 16 hours! Kayo and Astra were the exception. Kayo in particular took me .. 4 hours today. Astra was 6 I think. There were others that went faster, but I can't recall right now.
Also, since I'm a full-time illustrator, art is literally my job. I am currently prioritizing painting this series over other projects I have in the pipeline, so that's why I have time for it 😁

hehe that makes me happy to hear! Clove definitely is my fave of those three. if I manage to finish Chamber, I might touch up Jett and Sova a bit. Just a little to make me feel like they are finished

cheers! I wanted to do something cool with chamber that's a little unexpected from the usual fare, but still sticks with the overal character theme

that makes me happy to hear! the valorant series definitely is one that pushed my art limits. i rarely do character focused art in this form, so this forced me to confront some of my weaknesses head on. And I hope that my art style will be well received at Champs - can't wait to share all these artworks on grand finals weekend!
for those curious: I did some quick fixes for Jett's face and Sova's face. You can see the comparison for Jett here. Left is new, right is old. same with the chest. It just didn't look right so I had to fix it
