Background sync not working
I'm on Android 16 (Google Pixel 7) with ente photos 1.2.0 (installed from f-droid).
Despite having battery optimization for ente turned off, backup of the camera folder is only triggered when opening the app.
Are there any settings I have to adjust? I checked the docs as well as dontkillmyapp.com.
Also I'm on WiFi.
Thanks!

Ente Photos supports automatic background sync and backup

Ente Photos supports background sync to automatically back up your photos. Day to day sync should work automatically, but there are platform-specific considerations. See https://help.ente.io/photos/features/background#background-sync for more information.
On Android, ensure that "Optimize battery usage" is not turned on in the system settings for the Ente app. See https://help.ente.io/photos/features/background#android for more information.
On Android versions 15 and later, if the app is in private space and the private space is locked, Android doesn’t allow the app to run any background processes, which will prevent background sync from working.

Actually after rebooting the phone and waiting 10 minutes the sync did now trigger without opening the app. Maybe that was just a hickup.

Is there a fixed time interval for uploads?
